ISLAMABAD, December 23, (AP): President Asif Ali Zardari has said, “Parliament is the supreme legislative institution in the country. All the institutions including armed forces of Pakistan are following the policies of parliament. No institution among all these three the parliament, judiciary and military is superior to other. All these three institutions are working in their own jurisdictions independently and with complete freedom. All the three institutions are respecting the working and policies of each other for the continuation of the democracy with coordination, cooperation and understanding. We have facilitated all military forces and raised their salaries to double. All these three institutions have their own history to sacrifice the lives of their leaders and workers for the establishment of continuous, constant and stable democracy in Pakistan. It was became possible to run the government first time n the parliamentary history of Pakistan that we have passed our four successful years because of the independent, fair and sincere working with freedom of  decisions under separate and coordinated support to each other keeping ourselves in their  own jurisdiction and we hope that we will complete our constitutional tenure of five years first time in history. Pakistan Peoples’ Party has invited new faces to submit their applications for the candidate as senator to the Party Chairman and Co-chairman for the next senate elections. We hope that next new courageous generation will come forward to contest in senate elections 2012. We have started to receive the applications for the senators from the highly educated and genius workers of PPP who are loyal to the PPP and to the democracy. Other political parties should also get repaired for upcoming senate elections which will be held on its already fixed schedule in March 2012.”
